Emily Sauerteig

Emily Sauerteig was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Emily moved to Atlanta to attend Emory University, where she received degrees in music performance, sociology, and educational policy, before getting her Masters of Music Business Administration and Entertainment Industries at the University of Miami. Non-profit has always been at the core of Emily’s pursuits. She started her career donating her earnings to Make-A-Wish Foundation in Chicago.

Emily is involved in the Atlanta Jewish community having previously worked at the MJCCA, co-chaired the Temple Sinai sisterhood, and as a member of the Continuity and Caring Outcomes committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. Emily is honored to be a member of the JELF board, which blends her passion for giving, educational policy, and helping those in the Jewish community.
