Officer at Large Bob Thompson

Bob Thompson was born in Chattanooga, TN and grew up in Arlington, VA. He has lived in Atlanta since 1971.  Bob is a retired consulting actuary and Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. He spent most of his career with Towers Perrin (now Willis Towers Watson) in the Atlanta office. He was President of the Southern Employee Benefits Conference. He was on the Board of the William Breman Jewish Home where he was Vice-President–Board Development.

He has served several terms on the Board of JELF and also served on the Executive Committee. He received his AB from Princeton University and his MA from the University of Michigan. He is married to art historian Dede Thompson (who has also been active in JELF). They have two children and four grandchildren.
