Emily Sauerteig was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Emily moved to Atlanta to attend Emory University, where she received degrees in music performance, sociology, and educational policy, before getting her Masters of Music Business Administration and Entertainment Industries at the University of Miami. Non-profit has always been at the core of Emily’s pursuits. She started her career donating her earnings to Make-A-Wish Foundation in Chicago.
Emily is involved in the Atlanta Jewish community having previously worked at the MJCCA and is a current board member In the City Camps. After getting involved in JELF in 2014, Emily is honored to now Chair the JELF board, which blends her passion for giving, educational policy, and helping those in the Jewish community.
