Board Chair Richard Peretz

Richard resides with his wife, Ilana, in Marietta and is the father of Josh and Erica. They are members of Temple Kol Emeth. After a nearly 40 year career with UPS, he recently retired as the Chief Financial Officer.

A native of San Antonio, Texas, Mr. Peretz holds a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) from University of Texas – San Antonio. He grew up active in the Jewish community through BBYO and his hometown synagogue, Agudas Achim.

He has been named to serve on the board of directors of Electric Last Mile Solutions (ELMS) and Altus Power and is the Audit chair for both companies. Additionally, he is a Venture Partner for Playground Global Private Equity.

Richard got involved in JELF in 2020 during which time he served as Chair of the Audit Committee.  In 2024, he was honored with the Koonin Family Service Award, and is now proud to serve JELF as Board Chair.
