Aronson Fussman Excellence Scholarship
Since its inception in 2018, the award—honoring the memory of longtime JBI trustee and honorary officer Nathan L. Wolfson and his wife, Suzanne—has given $496,288 in scholarships to Jewish undergraduate and graduate students who are legally blind and attending an accredited university or college. Nathan L. Wolfson, z”l, established this program to provide educational scholarships to blind and low vision Jewish students at accredited colleges and universities.
Applications for the 2026-2027 cycle of the Wolfson Scholarship are now open. More information and the link to apply are below.
An individual is eligible for the Wolfson Scholarship if they meet the following criteria:
Prize amounts are determined based on the number of qualified applicants and the availability of funds each year. Each student selected for a Wolfson Scholarship receives at least $2,500. Previous scholarship recipients are eligible to reapply.
We administer the Wolfson application through International Scholarship and Tuition Services (ISTS), a third-party platform. To access the application, you will need to create a profile first on ISTS.
