honoring drs. marianne and stephen garber Garber Honor Roll Award
Drs. Marianne and Stephen Garber are deeply connected to JELF’s mission, inspired by Stephen’s father, Al Garber, who was raised in the Hebrew Orphans’ Home, JELF’s predecessor, and benefited from the community’s support for his college education. Both have served as JELF Board Chairs, with Marianne leading twice (2003–2005 and 2015–2017) and Stephen from 1992–1994.
Professionally, Marianne and Stephen co-founded the Behavioral Institute of Atlanta, where they specialized in learning disorders, ADHD, and parenting support. They have also authored numerous educational resources for parents and educators.
Active leaders in the Atlanta Jewish community, Marianne and Stephen take great pride in their family and their lasting dedication to JELF’s mission and the broader community.
