Video Donna Freedman, JELF Honor Roll Award – 12-9-19

In 2019 Donna Freedman was awarded with JELF’s Honor Roll Award for her exemplary leadership in JELF over 10 years, including Loan Program Chair, member of the Loan Calculation Committee, Chair of varying events, and Executive Committee Member.

Donna Freedman is originally from Greensboro, NC but has been in Atlanta for many years.   A retired special-education teacher who also volunteers with NCJW’s literacy program as well as Girls on the Run, Donna is a longstanding JELF Board Member who currently serves on the Executive Board.  As outgoing Loan Program Chair, Donna has participated in and led countless Loan Review sessions, which have taken her to both North Carolina and Virginia several times. In 2019, Donna served on JELF’s Loan Calculation amount committee, and has proven to be a vocal JELF leader and supporter. Donna and her husband Joel have three grown children.
