Craig Kaufman

Craig Kaufman_300px

Craig Kaufman has 30 years of experience in real estate investment/development and management. He founded the real estate investment company Kaufman Realty Group, now Kaufman Capital Partners, in 1994.

He holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. He currently serves as regional chair for Washington University’s Capital Campaign and is an active alumni supporter in Sigma Phi Epsilon.
Kaufman’s community service is focused on children and education, having served on the executive committee and board of directors of Camp Sunshine, a nonprofit organization offering year-round programs and camps for children with cancer.  He also currently serves on the executive committees and boards of JELF (Jewish Education Loan Fund) and the American Jewish Committee (AJC). In 2012, the American Diabetes Association honored Kaufman with the Father of the Year award.

In 2018, JELF loaned $1,011,266 to 279 students.  Since 1961, JELF has loaned over $12.5 million to 4,500+ students.  JELF maintains a 99% repayment rate and has $6 million out on the streets. Read more about our impact.
